TIME WITH HER

October 2013, Turnspace Gallery, Moscow, Idaho

This installation accompanied my narrative Ireland and England and back to the Palouse region of Washington and Idaho. I spent time dialoguing with French philosopher Luce Irigaray and eight others in England followed by five weeks on the West Coast of Ireland. Each subject- the stone, the people, the correspondences with home, the Turnstone Gallery Building, and each entrant into the space- acted as a creative collaborator in the unfolding work. There is resonance between the places- Ireland, England, and the Palouse- in relationship to water and to antiquity, to sounds and to rhythms.

The gallery lighting shifted from day to night dependent on the window daylight and the installation of lightbulbs.
